Summary:

The Climbing Wall Coordinator is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the climbing wall and the climbing wall staff to ensure a safe climbing environment for members and guests.

Work Schedule: Variable schedule to include day, evening and weekend shifts.

Salary Range: $18.84 - $26.77 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee climbing wall operations, staffing, scheduling, and maintenance.

· Ensure safety, instruction, belay testing, and proper equipment use.

· Train staff and lead climbing programs, clinics, and outdoor trips.

· Provide excellent customer service and respond to member feedback.

· Maintain waivers, inspections, routes, records, and equipment procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1+ year of climbing wall experience preferred.

· Knowledge of climbing wall operations, route setting, inspections, and risk management.

· Familiarity with climbing safety standards and best practices.

· Experience with youth programs, groups, or community engagement preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Climbing Wall Instructor Certification Level 1 and 2 or ability to obtain within 3–6 months.

Salary Range: $18.84-$26.77 per hour
