New Women & Children campus- Female Lead Cook/Asst. Mgr.

Female Lead Cook / Assistant Managers

This person will have a passion for food preparation and presentation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our clients. They will be in a “hands on leader” position who must “Love to Cook Great Food, teach and train others to “Cook Great Food”

If you are looking for “purpose driven work” that is impacting the Raleigh Metro Area for good. We are seeking a skilled Lead Cook / Assistant Manager to join our kitchen team. Please join our team.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team
Follow recipes as needed
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product on a regular schedule
Assist with daily kitchen management and team coordination (Assistant Manager duties)

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook/Assistant Manager in the food industry
Knowledge of best practices for food safety and sanitation
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant

Work Schedule: Full Time position - 3.5 days per week (3-11hour shifts plus 1-9 hour shift).

Working 3 shifts from 7am-6pm
1 shift of 6am-3pm or 10am-6pm.
Every other weekend off.
