Join the Neomonde Mediterranean Family as a Prep & Bakery Production Cook!

Neomonde Mediterranean is a family-owned and operated restaurant with deep roots in the Raleigh community. Known for our freshly baked pita, handcrafted Manoushe’, and vibrant Mediterranean flavors, we take pride in delivering quality, authenticity, and a warm team environment.

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Prep & Bakery Production Cook to support our Back of House operations across all prep stations and our bakery department. On any given shift, based on production needs, this team member may assist with dough preparation for our fresh pita bread and, or work on traditional prep tasks to keep our kitchen running smoothly

HOURLY RATE IS BASED ON BASE PAY + TIP POOL TOTAL AVERAGE.

What You'll Do

Prepare ingredients for daily production, including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, and assembling components according to recipes and quality standards.
Assist in bakery operations, including mixing dough, portioning, and supporting pita and Manoushe’ production.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation; follow all sanitation and food safety requirements.
Support commissary production, catering prep, and special production requests as needed.
Follow established cooking, storage, and handling procedures to ensure safety and consistency.
Assist with production planning, portion control, and daily prep organization to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth service during high-volume periods.
Uphold Neomonde’s standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation during meal service or production shift handoffs.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a bakery department, commissary kitchen, or restaurant prep role is preferred.
Strong knife skills and confidence in handling ingredients safely and efficiently.
Experience with dough preparation or bakery operations is a plus.
Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen.
Ability to adapt between stations based on production needs.
Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with catering preparation, high-volume production, or multi-station roles is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, kneel, and squat.
Comfortable working in hot and cold environments as part of kitchen and bakery operations.
