About Two Roosters Ice Cream

Two Roosters Ice Cream is a small batch ice cream company based in the Triangle. We take a lot of pride in our shops and our ice cream is a reflection of the local communities that we love and serve.

Description

Two Roosters Ice Cream is hiring a part-time Ice Cream Truck Driver / Event Scooper to work on our Catering and Events Team. Our team members are the ultimate Two Roosters ambassadors as they exemplify our world-class standards in everything they do. Our Ice Cream Truck / Events team has the opportunity to work weddings, corporate events, music festivals, private parties and more! We are looking for self-starters who are easily able to work as a part of a team or alone. The ideal candidate is someone

with amazing energy, fantastic people skills, attention to detail, and a love for ice cream!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Display amazing customer service and positively represent the Two Roosters brand
Maintain sound food handling and cleaning practices
Exhibit menu and product knowledge, and accurately serve offerings to company standards
Follow company protocols, driving and safety rules
Effectively communicate with other team members and management while on shift
Work happily and respectfully as part of the team, show initiative when needed
Promote an environment of fun, kindness, and respect
Keep catering area cleaned, organized, and well stocked
Maintain ice cream catering freezer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability and willingness to drive large catering vehicles (no CDL required)
Food or other customer service experience
Flexible availability (weekends are a MUST)
From the months of April - October: No planned absences longer than 7 days in a row without prior approval and must be available 3 out of 4 weekends each month
Self-motivation and ability to work independently
A great attitude
Ability to effectively work well as part of a team and autonomously
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness
Completing and maintaining accurate and thorough inventory of product and equipment
Logging and completing maintenance & cleaning duties for vehicles and event equipment
Other duties as needed that assist with the smooth running of Two Roosters Ice Cream catering and event operations

COMPENSATION

$20/hour plus tips
$10/hour at all vending events + tips
We cover 50% of our group medical, dental, and vision insurance plan premiums for employees that work more than 30 hours per week as a 30-day average. New employees become eligible for coverage the first day of the month following completion of the 30-day waiting period. A spouse and children may be insured on company plans at the employee's expense.
401k with employer match for eligible employees. We match 100% of the first 3% of the employee's contribution, plus 50% of the next 2%. Employees are eligible for 401k participation when they have worked at Two Roosters for 1,000 hours.
