EZPro Express is an successful, well respected home improvement company specializing in bathroom remodeling — tub-to-shower conversions, walk-in tubs and showers, accessibility solutions, and full bath renovations. We combine a consultative in-home sales model with a reputation for quality installation and dependable service across the markets we serve.

Marketing is the engine of our growth. Nearly every dollar of revenue starts with a homeowner who requested a free in-home consultation, so the quality and cost of the leads we generate directly determines how fast the business grows. We are hiring our Director of Marketing to own that engine end-to-end — the strategy, the spend, the team, and the numbers.

Overview

The Director of Marketing is a senior leadership role accountable for generating a predictable, cost-efficient flow of qualified appointments for our sales team while building the EZPro Express brand into the most trusted name in bath remodeling in our markets. You will set the marketing strategy, own the budget, lead and grow the team, and be measured on the outcomes: lead volume, cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and marketing-sourced revenue.

You will inherit an operating business with real revenue and real demand, and your job is to make its growth faster, more measurable, and more repeatable. If you want a seat at the leadership table and a direct line between your work and company revenue, this is it.

Duties

Demand Generation & Lead Volume

Own the full lead-generation engine across paid search, paid social, streaming/OTT and local TV, radio, direct mail, home shows and events, SEO, and referral programs.
Set and hit monthly targets for qualified leads and booked in-home appointments that keep the sales team’s calendar full and support the company’s revenue plan.
Manage and continuously optimize cost per lead (CPL) and cost per acquisition (CPA) across every channel, reallocating budget toward what is working.
Build and refine the lead-to-appointment funnel in partnership with sales, including speed-to-lead follow-up, nurture sequences, and no-show reduction.
Test and scale new channels and offers, and manage seasonal demand so lead flow matches installation capacity.

Brand & Content

Define and steward the EZPro Express brand — positioning, messaging, voice, and visual identity — so we stand out from national competitors and local remodelers.
Direct content across the website, landing pages, email, social media, video, before-and-after galleries, and sales collateral.
Own online reputation and reviews (Google, Yelp, BBB, social), turning satisfied customers into a steady stream of five-star reviews and referrals.
Ensure a consistent, high-trust experience from first ad impression through the in-home consultation and post-install follow-up.
Produce compelling creative — offers, promotions, and financing messaging — that converts without eroding brand or margin.

Team & Budget Leadership

Lead, coach, and grow the marketing team; hire to fill gaps and build a bench as the company scales.
Own the marketing budget end-to-end — plan it, defend it, and manage spend to agreed CPL/CPA and ROI targets.
Select and manage external partners: media agencies, creative and web vendors, direct-mail, and event partners — holding them accountable to results.
Partner closely with sales and operations to align lead flow with selling and installation capacity, and to close the loop on lead quality.
Serve as the marketing voice on the leadership team, translating goals into plans and reporting results to the CEO/owner.

Analytics & ROI

Build and own a marketing reporting system that ties spend to leads, appointments, sales, and revenue by channel and campaign.
Establish clean attribution and tracking (call tracking, form tracking, UTM discipline, CRM integration) so every dollar is measurable.
Report weekly on leading indicators and monthly on ROI, and use the data to drive budget and channel decisions.
Maintain a KPI dashboard covering CPL, CPA, appointment rate, close-rate contribution, marketing-sourced revenue, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Forecast lead volume and marketing spend, and flag risks to targets early.

Qualifications Required

3+ years of marketing experience with at least 1 year leading a team and owning a budget.
Proven track record generating leads and revenue in a high-consideration, locally driven business — ideally home services, home improvement, remodeling, or a comparable consumer category.
Deep, hands-on command of paid digital (Google, Meta) and demonstrated success managing traditional/local media (TV, radio, direct mail) at scale.
Strong analytical skills — comfortable owning CPL, CPA, ROAS, and attribution, and making budget decisions from data.
Experience managing agencies and vendors and holding them to measurable outcomes.
Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication, especially partnering with a sales organization.

Preferred

Experience with an in-home sales or lead-to-appointment model.
Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms, call-tracking tools, and dashboarding.
Experience marketing financing or promotional offers in a considered-purchase category.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 days: Learn the business and numbers, audit every channel and vendor, and deliver a prioritized plan to reduce cost per lead and improve lead quality.
6 months: A working attribution and reporting system is live; budget is reallocated toward the highest-ROI channels; lead volume and appointment rate are trending up.
12 months: Predictable, scalable lead flow at or below target CPA; a stronger brand and review presence; and a marketing team and dashboard that let leadership forecast growth with confidence.
