Position Overview
The FBA Logistics Specialist supports our FBA Coordinator and the broader warehouse freight operation — helping plan and process Amazon FBA inbound shipments, coordinating inbound and outbound freight, preparing Canada and cross-border shipping documentation, and working through freight issues and bottlenecks to keep shipments on time. This is a hands-on, detail-driven support role for a highly organized professional with a supply chain background and excellent communication skills.
You will work side by side with the FBA Coordinator and serve as their primary backup, stepping in to keep the pipeline running smoothly when they are out. This is a high-visibility position: you will communicate regularly across the warehouse and, at times, directly with directors and members of our executive team, so polished written and verbal communication is essential.

Why On-Site Matters
This is a floor-and-freight role. You will work hands-on in our Columbus, MN distribution center alongside the FBA Coordinator and the shipping and receiving teams, with direct access to leadership when decisions need to be made fast.
Key ResponsibilitiesFBA & Marketplace Inbound Support
- Support the FBA Coordinator in planning, preparing, and processing Amazon FBA inbound shipments — building shipping plans, generating FBA labels, palletizing, and booking inbound freight
- Help ensure FBA shipments meet Amazon’s packaging, labeling, prep, and routing requirements to avoid chargebacks and delays
- Track inbound shipment status, flag receiving discrepancies and fulfillment-center exceptions, and follow up on lost or damaged units
- Serve as primary backup to the FBA Coordinator, stepping in to manage the FBA inbound pipeline during absences
Inbound & Outbound Freight
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight across parcel and LTL carriers — scheduling pickups, staging pallets, preparing bills of lading, and ensuring on-time carrier handoffs
- Work through freight issues, delays, and bottlenecks — problem-solving and escalating as needed to keep shipments moving
- Obtain and compare freight quotes and support rate negotiations with carriers and brokers to help control shipping costs
Canada & Cross-Border Shipments
- Prepare and organize documentation for shipments to Canada, including commercial invoices, customs paperwork, and required cross-border documentation
- Coordinate with customs brokers and carriers to support compliant, on-time international delivery
- Maintain accurate records of cross-border shipments and help resolve documentation or clearance issues promptly
Vendor & Carrier Coordination
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for carriers, freight brokers, and shipping vendors
- Track carrier performance, flag service failures, and support timely resolution
- Help reconcile freight invoices against quotes and shipment records to catch billing errors
Tracking, Data & Reporting
- Maintain shipment trackers, freight cost logs, and FBA inbound records with accuracy and consistency
- Use Excel (VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS) to organize and track multiple shipments, freight spend, and on-time performance simultaneously
- Provide clear, well-organized updates to the FBA Coordinator and Warehouse Supervisor on freight status, FBA inbound, and exceptions
Safety & Compliance
- Apply a working understanding of OSHA general industry and DOT requirements relevant to warehouse and freight operations
- Comply with all safety policies, PPE requirements, and warehouse operating procedures at all times
- Operate pallet jacks and, where certified, forklifts to stage and move freight safely
Cross-Functional Support
- Cross-train and support shipping, receiving, and FBA operations during volume surges and peak season
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of warehouse operations, company goals, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Approximately 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, freight, or fulfillment
- Hands-on Amazon FBA experience — building shipping plans, FBA labeling, and managing inbound shipments
- Experience coordinating LTL and parcel freight, including working through delays and bottlenecks
- Familiarity with Canada / cross-border shipping documentation and customs requirements
- Working understanding of OSHA general industry and DOT requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the polish to interact professionally with directors and executive leadership
- Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage several shipments and competing priorities simultaneously
- Composure and strong problem-solving ability under the pressure of a high-volume warehouse
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Required Skills
- Excel — strong proficiency required, including VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and SUMIFS, used to organize and track multiple shipments at once
- Strong general computer skills across email, shipping platforms, and reporting tools
- Amazon FBA / Seller Central — hands-on shipment creation and management
- Multi-carrier shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL, Amazon partnered carriers)
- Warehouse management or ERP shipping systems (SellerCloud, NetSuite, or similar) — training provided
- Exceptional organization and the ability to juggle multiple shipments and deadlines without dropping details
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with carriers, brokers, internal teams, and leadership
Schedule and Location
Full-time, on-site at our Columbus, MN headquarters and distribution center. Standard warehouse hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to align with carrier pickup windows and end-of-day shipping cutoffs. Weekend coverage may be required, and overtime or schedule adjustments may be needed during peak shipping seasons.
This is a safety-sensitive warehouse position. Employment is contingent on the standard pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy.

- Hourly Range: $22 – $26 per hour (non-exempt, eligible for overtime; based on experience and demonstrated skill)
