Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and experienced owner operators to establish lease agreements under our authority, driving a variety of commercial vehicles across designated routes. This role offers the opportunity to operate independently while benefiting from a supportive network that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and professionalism. As a lease on owner operator contractor, you will be responsible for delivering freight reliably and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards, ensuring smooth logistics operations. This position is ideal for drivers who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailers, including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, roll-off truck, and other specialized vehicles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
Drive route-specific deliveries while managing schedules efficiently using GPS navigation systems.
Load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Handle hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
Ensure the secure transport of freight by adhering to safety procedures during transit and at delivery points.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation of your equipment.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience operating tractor-trailers and manual transmission vehicles.
Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery of freight across various sectors.
Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling.
Ability to manually handle cargo safely using appropriate techniques or equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks.
Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures and compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
Strong understanding of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; previous delivery driver experience preferred.
Physical ability to load/unload freight regularly and perform manual handling tasks safely.
