Full Job Description

An established, high-volume restaurant organization is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at one of its premier locations in the Greater Boston market.

This position is ideal for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops strong kitchen teams, and consistently delivers exceptional food quality, execution, and financial performance.

What You'll Do

Lead all back-of-house culinary operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, sanitation, and safety.
Drive labor, food cost, inventory, purchasing, and profitability goals.
Recruit, develop, and mentor Sous Chefs and hourly culinary team members.
Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Partner with restaurant leadership to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years of Executive Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.
Proven success leading teams of 30+ culinary employees.
Experience managing annual culinary sales volumes of $5M+ preferred.
Strong background in scratch cooking, quality execution, inventory controls, labor management, and food cost management.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and retain high-performing culinary teams.
ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Stable employment history showing progressive culinary leadership growth.

Candidates Who Will Stand Out

Experience with upscale casual, polished casual, premium steakhouse, seafood, or chef-driven concepts.
Multi-unit or flagship restaurant experience.
Proven record of improving kitchen performance, profitability, and team retention.
Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred.
