Full Job Description

Accounting Clerk

A Post Falls, ID-based Third Party Administrator specializing in FSA, HRA, HSA, VEBA, Commuter and COBRA administration. We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our Accounting team. The person in this position performs basic accounting duties related to payments.

Essential Functions:

Data entry into accounting system.
Preparation and manipulation of intermediate spreadsheets.
Basic auditing & compliance of commission payment activity.
Process deposits and payments related to Agent Commissions.
Process weekly disbursements.
Answer and respond to phone calls and email in a timely manner.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely fashion following established policies.
Performs other similar and related duties as required by management.

Required Skills:

Associate's Degree and two years' accounting experience preferred.
QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
Ability to problem solve and think analytically.
Ability to meet production and quality goals on a consistent basis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail, follow-through skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel) required.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
