Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clients with tailored insurance solutions, building strong relationships, and driving sales through effective communication and negotiation skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your sales expertise and customer service skills will make a meaningful impact. Bilingual abilities and experience in outside sales or retail sales are highly valued, enabling us to serve a diverse client base effectively.

Duties

Develop new business through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach
Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options
Manage sales administration tasks such as processing policies, maintaining client records, and following up on leads
Negotiate policy terms with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction while meeting company standards
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims processes
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products and expand market reach
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive information
Assist clients with benefits administration and policy renewals to foster long-term relationships

Requirements

Proven experience in insurance sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively
Analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance products
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse populations
Knowledge of sales administration processes and marketing strategies is desirable
Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to handling confidential client information
