Talent Acquisition Specialist

Department: Talent Acquisition
Shift: Sun-Thu 12:30pm-9:00pm, Tue-Sat 12:30pm-9:00pm
Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, engage, and hire high-quality talent across multiple affiliates and service lines. This role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers, ensuring staffing needs are met efficiently while maintaining compliance, candidate experience, and organizational hiring goals.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist proactively sources candidates, manages recruitment pipelines, coordinates interviews, extends employment offers, and supports onboarding initiatives. This position requires strong recruiting acumen, data-driven decision-making, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTalent Sourcing & Recruitment

Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Utilize applicant tracking systems, job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, career fairs, and community partnerships.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
Continuously evaluate sourcing effectiveness and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.

Full-Cycle Recruiting

Manage assigned requisitions from intake through hire.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and establish recruitment plans.
Conduct candidate screenings and assess qualifications, skills, and cultural alignment.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with recommendations.

Offer Management & Hiring

Prepare job offers and compensation recommendations within established guidelines.
Present and negotiate employment offers when appropriate.
Facilitate offer acceptance and transition candidates into pre-employment processing.
Monitor candidate progression to ensure successful onboarding and start dates.

Onboarding & Compliance

Coordinate onboarding activities and required employment documentation.
Ensure completion of all background checks, clearances, licensing, and compliance-related requirements.
Partner with onboarding, HR, and operational leaders to support seamless employee transitions.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and company regulations.

Data & Analytics

Track and analyze recruitment metrics and hiring trends.
Maintain accurate records within ADP and other recruiting systems.
Generate recruitment reports and workforce planning data.
Utilize metrics to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Hiring Manager Partnership

Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers regarding recruitment best practices.
Provide regular hiring updates and candidate pipeline summaries.
Educate managers on labor market trends, compensation insights, and recruiting strategies.
Collaborate to improve interview effectiveness and hiring decisions.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field preferred.

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources experience.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms preferred.
Experience in healthcare, human services, behavioral health, IDD, or related environments preferred.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Experience with ADP Recruiting and Onboarding preferred.
Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and workforce data.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to travel to affiliate locations, career fairs, job events, and meetings as required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to work flexible hours based on recruitment demands and hiring events.=

Pay: $50,679.88 - $75,033.84 per year
