Full Job Description

Precision starts here. Universal Concrete Products is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC equipment used to manufacture components essential to our architectural precast concrete production process. If you enjoy problem-solving, precision manufacturing, and working with advanced equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

· Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture production components used in architectural precast concrete production.

· Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.

· Verify machine setup, tooling, and material dimensions prior to production.

· Inspect completed components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with production specifications.

· Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to maintain efficient operation.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of tooling, materials, and production supplies.

· Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supervisors to support production schedules and project deadlines.

· Assist the Carpentry and Set-Up departments during periods of reduced CNC workload.

· Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and technical specifications.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

· Ability to troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and programming issues.

· Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

· Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
