The On & Off-Premise Manager is responsible for managing MHUSA’s relationship with it’s distributor partner(s) and serves as the face of MH for the account. This person is responsible for owning account relationships and cultivating the relationship to deliver sales and visibility goals. This manager will manage day to day operations and successfully manage their territory to execute KPIs.

Office/Location: Remote in Central/ North New Jersey and in market based on business needs.

Compensation: $119,000-$137,000/ annually + bonus

Job responsibilities

Strategic Account Management & Planning

Account Targeting & Coverage: Manages a target list of at least 55 accounts in New Jersey (ideally split 50/50 on-premises and off-premise).
Time Management: Create a calendar/ schedule to visit the entire account universe at least once per month to maintain relationships, monitor performance, and gather updates. The work week should be structured to ensure 1.5 office days and 3.5 days in field or with accounts or distributor.
Key Account Planning: Builds long-term account plans through enduring partnerships, ongoing programming, and alignment on menu, display, cold box, and staff training goals/ KPIS with the Market Director.

Sales Execution & Portfolio Growth

Brand Positioning & Sales: Sells in Moët Hennessy (MH) brands and products, selecting relevant activations, national brand programs, and tactics tailored to each account .
Consultative Partnership: Acts as a trusted advisor to account on portfolio opportunities and growth through expert advice, education, creative programming, and performance analysis.
Distributor Collaboration: Works hand-in-hand with distributor sales reps for pricing and fulfillment support, ensuring distributors are kept informed on all account calls and sales information.
Pricing fluency: Is educated and knowledgeable of pricing strategies and can confidently communicate to distributor reps and accounts.

Marketing, Activations & Advocacy

Trade Marketing & Bespoke Programs: Collaborates with the Field Trade Marketing team, local team, and distributor leads to identify opportunities for bespoke programs, brand education, and upsells, bringing in MH resources to build brand awareness and consumer demand.
Brand Guidelines: Ensures account needs for programs and activations are fully met and executed in alignment with MH brand guidelines.
Trade Advocacy & Training: Leads trade advocacy initiatives, maintains relationships with key accounts, and conducts a minimum of 4 staff trainings per month.
Merchandising: leads Mosaic Merchandising within key account universe as a expert in execution excellence to include but not limited to: Brand standards, RSP pricing compliance, shelf adjacencies and strategy, survey collection and in store demos.
Market Events: Participates actively in Market/Maison visitor hosting, market blitzes, and distributor education and activations within key accounts. These events can take place during the week, after traditional work hours or even on weekends.

Reporting, Analytics & Communication

Performance Tracking: Completes monthly recaps of marketing activity, sales performance, depletions (using Power BI), and ROI analysis.
Data Hygiene: Maintains accurate account surveys, KPIs, activations, and meeting notes within Aspire.
Intelligence Sharing: Informs the channel lead or market lead of emerging opportunities, business risks, and competitive intelligence and pricing changes in the market.

Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required.

Professional Experience

5-7 years of professional experience in sales and marketing in wine and spirits

Practical/Technical Knowledge

Self-starter and competitive attitude
Extensive understanding of consumer expectations within the geography
Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to effective sales pitches & strategy-setting

Excellent analytical ability; effectively interprets & applies syndicated data insights

Maximizing ROI of the assigned budget

This role requires frequent driving to support account visits, transport POSM, and meet essential business needs. Driving is an essential function of the position. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required. Eligibility for a company vehicle is subject to a satisfactory driving record and completion of the Company’s approval process.

Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
