We are working with a very well-established Shasta County Insurance Agency.

About the Position:

We are seeking candidates who are currently licensed in California for P&C. If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to get licensed before you can start the position. You will be reimbursed for all licensing fees once hired on. This is not just a customer service representative position...this is a sales and marketing position. You MUST have a 100% clear background in order to be licensed by the state. You must also have a valid drivers' license.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options

Work with the broker to establish and meet marketing goals

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services

Meet with existing customers to perform policy reviews

Conduct sales presentations

Actively seek out new clients

Qualifications:

Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams

Self-motivated

Detail oriented

Ability to make presentations to potential customers

Current California Property and Casualty license or Life and Health license. If only L&H, P&C license must be obtained prior to starting at which time, you will be reimbursed for all licensing expenses

Sales-minded, and open to connecting via phone and your network

Passion for people and developing sales relationships

Goal-oriented, with a focus on achieving sales success

Excellent time management and organizational skills
