Full Job Description

Summary

We are looking to add another wonderful massage therapist to our busy clinic. Our current massage therapists have worked at Element Chiropractic for at least 2 years and we want to keep providing the best chiropractic care and massage in Redmond by expanding our team.

Element Chiropractic has been in Redmond for 5 years providing 5-star service that our patients love. There are currently 2 chiropractors and 2 massage therapists that keep our patients in tip top shape.

Schedule

We are open Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and closed for lunch 12:30-1:45. We are looking for at least 3 days a week and up to 4 days a week. Max of 5 one hour long massage per day. Our most popular times requested for massage are our evenings and the 4:30-5:00 massage start time. No weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform therapeutic massage for our patients under the direction of the doctors.
Perform wellness massages for relaxation.
Create and maintain patient chart notes, documenting each visit with proper billing codes.
Keep your workspace clean and sanitary during and between massage sessions.
Maintaining inventory of the massage room and ensuring the office manager is aware of any needed supplies.
Turn over the massage room in between patients.
Assisting with laundry between patients or during downtime, which may include stocking and folding massage sheets as needed.
Assist with general clinic activities during downtime, such as cleaning and answering the phone.
Accurate timekeeping

Qualifications

Current Oregon State Massage Therapist License (or license applicant status)
Current CPR certification or complete before starting.
Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to stand and /or sit for extended periods of time. Must have complete range of motion, no physical limitations restricting movement.

Salary and benefits:

Base pay + Per Massage Commission
Will not exceed 5 hours of massage per day
3-4days/week (15-26 massages per week)
Paid hourly rate for cancellations or missed appointments

Our chiropractors focus on both instrument and traditional manual chiropractic care, whole body chiropractic care, physical therapy and mobility, and patient activity or ergonomic modification. Our patients are all ages including babies to our fantastic seniors; all careers including desk jockeys to blue collar workers; acute injury and chronic pain; athletes to weekend warriors.
