CAM Manager

Confidential Resort Hotel | Ocean City, Maryland
Salary: $60,000–$63,000

A nearly 300-room resort hotel in Ocean City, Maryland, is seeking an experienced CAM Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and owner relationships for more than half of the property’s individually owned units. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position serves as the primary connection between ownership, hotel leadership, and resort operations.

The CAM Manager will ensure owner concerns are handled promptly, association standards are maintained, and communication remains clear and professional. This role requires someone who can balance hospitality, property operations, financial responsibilities, and relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for condominium unit owners.
Manage owner communications, questions, concerns, and service requests.
Coordinate unit inspections, maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
Work closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office, accounting, and hotel leadership.
Help administer CAM budgets, assessments, invoices, contracts, and financial reporting.
Prepare materials and updates for association and board meetings.
Maintain accurate owner, unit, maintenance, and association records.
Monitor vendor performance and coordinate outside contractors.
Ensure common areas and participating units meet established property standards.
Support compliance with association documents, policies, and applicable regulations.
Identify operational issues early and bring practical solutions to the General Manager.
Assist with seasonal preparation and the increased demands of peak resort periods.
Handle sensitive owner matters with discretion, professionalism, and follow-through.

Qualifications

Experience in condominium, community association, hotel, resort, or property management.
Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
Working knowledge of budgets, invoices, contracts, and property operations.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced resort environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization, judgment, and problem-solving ability.
Comfortable working directly with owners, board members, vendors, and hotel department leaders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property or association management systems.
CAM or related professional designation preferred but not required.
Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational and meeting needs.
