Job Title: Federal Contract Invoice Auditor (Remote – FAA Contract Support)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote (Anywhere in CONUS)

Start: Immediate Hire

Clearance: U.S. Citizen required; FAA suitability determination required

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Federal Contract Invoice Auditor to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Integrator Accountability Contract (IAC) under the BNATCS program. This role serves as the first line of financial review for contractor invoices, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and adherence to federal contracting requirements before payment approval.

You will work closely with a small, high-performing team supporting FAA program leadership, reviewing AI-generated invoice exception reports and producing formal invoice compliance determinations that directly inform payment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Review AI-generated invoice exception reports for accuracy, completeness, and FAR/FAA AMS compliance
Validate invoice elements including contract numbers, CLINs/SubCLINs, labor categories, hours, rates, and totals
Review T&M invoices for labor traceability by individual, category, hours, and billing rates
Verify purchases, subcontractor costs, and thresholds (e.g., $3,000+ documentation requirements)
Identify discrepancies including duplicate charges, unallowable costs, and billing errors
Ensure proper submission through FAA-approved invoicing systems (e.g., Delphi eInvoicing)
Coordinate with contractors to resolve routine invoice issues and escalate complex findings
Prepare standardized Invoice Review Reports with findings, evidence, and compliance determinations
Support monthly reporting of questioned costs and discrepancy trends

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in government contract invoice review, audit, or financial analysis
Knowledge of FAR cost principles or FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)
Experience with FFP, T&M, Cost-Reimbursement, or FPI contract types
Strong Excel and financial tracking/database skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain FAA suitability determination
Must be eligible to support federal aviation programs under

Preferred Qualifications

CPA, CDFM, or CFCM certification
Experience with Delphi eInvoicing or federal billing systems
FAA, DOT, DoD, or federal contractor audit experience
Exposure to AI-assisted audit or analytics tools
