Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Account Manager to join our vibrant sales support team!

Task-driven, self-motivated Sales Account Manager position with Carepoint Medical Solutions, LLC. Attention to detail is mandatory.

High-volume, fast-paced medical device company: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service for our patients and clients. Your responsibilities will include managing patient information, coordinating confidential patient records with healthcare providers, and fully supporting the sales team lead to ensure efficient delivery of medical equipment and expediting the billing submissions.

Overview

Excellent communication skills to articulate requirements persuasively & respectfully.
Proficiency with sales management systems and CRM tools.
Demonstrated ability in managing customer accounts and patient orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Data Management:
Manage from inception all patient demographic & insurance information.
Consistent use of CRM system
Verify patient insurance details through online portals within 24 hours to ensure up-to-date information.
Insurance and Documentation Coordination:
Email Sales Representatives with detailed patient insurance coverage information, out-of-pocket costs, and any additional documentation required immediately after verification.
Create, fax and/or fax requests for required documents to the referring physician offices.
File Management:
Compile signed physician documents with clinical notes to complete patient files for review.
Review and send completed files for submission to in-house Medicare auditor or for pre-authorization requests to private insurers.
Weekly review/audit with sales rep of patient order status.
Monthly audit of outstanding equipment with the delivery support team
Delivery Coordination:
Email Sales Rep and Setup Technician with delivery paperwork, equipment list, and patient’s contact information (phone and address) once approval/authorization is received.
Order or reallocate equipment to be shipped directly to the delivery personnel
Billing and Documentation:
Upon receipt of delivery sign-offs, merge these with previous documentation and submit as a billable claim to Carepoint Medical Claims.
Compliance and Reporting:
Review the daily Event Report for follow-up activities.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

Provide examples of projects completed
Employment history
References from present employer
Level two background screening required
College degree

Preferred Experience:

Experience in admin and admin support roles
Customer service experience in a medical, insurance, or healthcare setting.

Competencies:

Fluent in Excel spreadsheets
Fluent in Word
Highly proficient ERP’s
Strong working knowledge of Adobe
Strong working knowledge of Google products
Strong compliance with regulations and standards / provide OSHA training.
Excellent customer service focus and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Effective stress and time management skills.
Ability to communicate via phone calls with physicians & referral staff/to discuss medical record documentation.
Competencies in medical terminology.

Work Environment:

The role is in the corporate professional office setting.
Work is conducted in a professional office (possibly some clinical environments)
Possible hybrid option after initial training / probationary period.

Physical Demands:

Limited.
Some lifting up to 15lbs as needed. (Infrequent)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
