Full Job Description

AltiusERP is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team as a contract or part-time employee. We’re seeking someone who combines strong Business Central functional expertise with a solid finance/accounting background and can comfortably work with both customers and technical teams. This is a direct hire. No recruiters.

What we’re looking for:

5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central experience
Strong functional knowledge of Business Central Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Dimensions, and financial reporting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Experience gathering requirements, configuring Business Central, conducting fit-gap analysis, testing, training users, and supporting implementations
Ability to translate business requirements into practical Business Central solutions
Experience with data migration, integrations, and implementation cutovers
Working knowledge of AL development and the ability to read, troubleshoot, and develop Business Central extensions
Experience working directly with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Shopify and ecommerce integrations
Willing to travel up to 10% for on-site discovery and go-live

Preferred experience:

Manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or inventory-intensive environments
Business Central implementations from discovery through go-live
Upgrades or migrations from Dynamics NAV, GP, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems
Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central
