Full Job Description

Position

If you've sat on an admissions committee, evaluate applications, or built a track record placing students into competitive engineering, CS, maths, or medicine programmes, this role is perfect for you!

Who we are

We're a US-based online learning platform and admissions consulting firm. Alongside our AP and SAT programmes, we run end-to-end application counselling for ambitious students targeting the most selective universities in the US and UK. Most of our students are international — primarily Turkey, with students in the US, UK, Germany and Azerbaijan — and the large majority are STEM-focused.

What you'd actually do

You'd work with of students and stay with them across the full arc of the application. That means:

Building multi-year academic and extracurricular roadmaps, including AP / IB / A-Level course strategy
Shaping research, olympiad, and passion-project portfolios that demonstrate real intellectual depth rather than résumé padding
Coaching personal statements in both US and UK registers — brainstorm through final polish
Building balanced university lists across both systems
Interview preparation, and the final read before submission
Recurring virtual sessions, with occasional family check-ins
Brief session notes and a periodic progress report per student

Required

Three or more years working directly with secondary or pre-university students on admissions — as an admissions officer, independent consultant, school counsellor, or academic mentor
Genuine STEM fluency: a degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in a STEM field, or a demonstrable history of placing students into competitive STEM programmes
Current, working knowledge of the US system and/or the UK system — including how they differ in what they reward
Strong written English, at editing standard
A quiet remote workspace, reliable connection, and availability you can hold consistently across an academic year

Preferred

Experience inside a university admissions office in any reading or decision-making capacity — particularly at a top-100 institution , and particularly if you read international applicants
A degree from a top-100 globally ranked university
Familiarity with specialised pathways: direct-admit CS, BS/MD, Oxbridge STEM interviews, admissions tests or research placement
