Full Job Description

Agricultural Program Coordinator and Land Appraiser

INTRODUCTION

Pembroke Partners, LLC seeks an Agricultural Program Coordinator and Land Appraiser who will be responsible for supporting a Federal Agency within the United States Department of Agriculture.

Minimum/General Requirements:

Incumbent must have or previously had (within the last 3 years) a certified Appraiser license in one or more State(s) that specialize in agricultural and rural agricultural techniques, methodology and education. Must provide evidence of education associated with professional appraisal organization that specialize in agricultural, rural agricultural and conservation easement techniques, methodology and education. Must have comprehensive knowledge of and skill in applying a wide range of appraisal concepts, principles, practices and techniques in order to determine market value of real and chattel property.

DUTIES

The employees must be able to:

Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes for completion
Liaise with organizational leaders, external partners, and subject matter experts to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
Track assigned tasks to teams and staff and assist with schedule management
Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
Analyze risks and opportunities
Monitor project progress and handle or communicate any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
Work with the Project Manager/Organizational leaders to eliminate blockers
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Organize material and complete writing assignments with regard to order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
Possess ability to write in various styles and to a variety of audiences (i.e., scientific, general, etc.) and ability to write documents consistent with the Government Publishing Office style manual and principles of plain language
Perform reviews and spot checks on work materials and valuation documentation
Review and provide comments on NRCS organizational guidance, training, and other educational materials
Experienced in project management, from conception to delivery
An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action/work plans
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

SALARY & PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

The role can be performed remotely, may require occasional travel to all 50 states.
