Role: Business Data Analyst

Exp: 10+ Years

Location: Boston MA (Remote)

Skills Required:

We are seeking an experienced Data/Business Analyst to support our rapidly growing Rx Business Unit. As a key member of the team, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities.
Leverage strong expertise in data management, data governance, data integration, business intelligence, and Master Data Management (MDM) within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries.
Strong experience in data management, data governance, data integration and analysis, business intelligence, MDM, requirement gathering, stakeholder interaction in the Dermatology, and pharmaceutical industry.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Dermatology and Pharmaceutical domains to understand business processes, data requirements, and analytical needs.
Gather, document, validate, and prioritize business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
Analyze and validate data from diverse sources, including CRM systems, Specialty Pharmacy (SP)/HUB platforms, IQVIA, MMIT, and other pharmaceutical data sources.
Work with patient, claims, provider, prescription, and commercial data to support business reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
Perform data profiling, reconciliation, quality checks, and validation to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and data integrity issues across multiple sources.
Collaborate with data engineering, BI, MDM, and technology teams to define data integration requirements and ensure accurate and consistent data delivery.
Develop and execute complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, validate, and reconcile data from multiple databases and data sources.
Translate complex data findings into meaningful business insights and communicate results effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support data governance initiatives by helping define data standards, business rules, data definitions, ownership, and quality requirements.
Identify gaps between business requirements and existing data capabilities and recommend effective solutions to address data and reporting needs.
Work cross-functionally with business, IT, data, analytics, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.
