Full Job Description

Blueprint Talent Advisors is recruiting for a leading institution dedicated to advancing scientific research and innovation. They are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where groundbreaking discoveries are made.

Job Overview: The Scientific Director will lead and oversee the research programs, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals. This role involves setting research objectives, managing a team of scientists, and liaising with key stakeholders to drive scientific excellence.

MUST HAVE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) EXPERIENCE.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement research strategies that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
Team Management: Hire, mentor, and manage a team of researchers and scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Research Oversight: Oversee all phases of research projects, from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with sponsors, key personnel, and external partners to secure funding and support for research initiatives.
Scientific Communication: Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and other public forums, presenting research findings and building relationships with the scientific community.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all research activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in scientific research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successful research project management and publication.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Minimum of 1-2 Years of experience in CME.
Open to therapeutic category but will be working in the Oncology space.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in securing research funding and grants.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in scientific research.
Strong network within the scientific community.
