Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and strategic initiatives. This pivotal role involves overseeing comprehensive financial activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving fiscal excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting, coupled with strong leadership capabilities to manage a diverse finance team. Join us to shape financial strategies that propel growth, optimize resource allocation, and uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.

Duties

Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Oversee accounting functions such as general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards including IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IAS (International Accounting Standards), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and industry-specific regulations.
Manage financial reporting processes by preparing accurate financial statements, interpreting complex financial data, and delivering insightful reports to executive leadership.
Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial exposures across operations.
Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment oversight, and liquidity planning.
Drive business development initiatives by providing financial insights for new ventures, partnerships, or expansion opportunities.
Lead the finance team through strategic management practices while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Skills

Extensive experience in corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and public accounting environments.
Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel data analysis tools for accurate data interpretation and modeling.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations such as IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition, and relevant financial concepts including risk management and cost accounting.
Expertise in financial projection model development, budget creation, forecasting techniques, and industry knowledge of financial markets.
Demonstrated leadership in finance team management with excellent strategic planning capabilities.
Skilled in regulatory reporting requirements and compliance management across diverse sectors.
Ability to analyze account details such as profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, account reconciliation reports, and general ledger entries.
Exceptional communication skills for effective financial report writing and interpretation tailored for varied audiences.
Technical proficiency with data analytics tools and accounting systems to streamline operations and enhance decision-making processes.
