Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and strategic planning initiatives. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and managing a dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and risk management, with a passion for driving fiscal health and supporting organizational growth. Duties

Lead the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.
Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and compliance management aligned with industry regulations.
Develop and maintain financial projection models to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment decision-making processes.
Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, risk assessment, investment management, and regulatory reporting to optimize fiscal resources.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards such as IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and industry-specific financial regulations through rigorous compliance management.
Drive continuous improvement in financial operations by utilizing data analytics tools and advanced Excel data analysis techniques for insightful decision-making.
Lead the finance team in implementing effective cost control measures, risk analysis procedures, and industry best practices to enhance overall financial health.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives like business development, governmental funding programs, and non-profit accounting where applicable.
Facilitate training sessions on technical accounting topics such as accrual accounting, technical accounting standards, and financial software systems to elevate team expertise.

Experience

Proven experience in financial management or finance directorship roles within diverse industries, demonstrating leadership in strategic management and team development.
Extensive background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and industry knowledge of financial markets and regulations.
Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and governmental or non-profit accounting frameworks.
Hands-on experience with financial software systems such as ERP platforms or specialized accounting tools; proficiency in Excel data analysis is essential.
Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and reports that support executive decision-making processes.
Knowledge of risk management strategies related to financial operations and compliance requirements across various sectors.
Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed financial reports and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
Ability to lead a finance team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
