Role Description:

As a Graphic Designer at Grown Rogue, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and on-brand assets that span digital campaigns, print collateral, sales materials, and retail packaging design.

You will collaborate with both the Marketing and Sales teams, and this role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. This role plays a key part in shaping and maintaining the visual identity of the brand, ensuring consistency and quality, and elevating Grown Rogue’s overall brand presence.

Requirements for Graphic Designer:

Creative Design & Brand Execution:

Design and produce high-quality visual assets for digital and print, including social media graphics, digital ads, email templates, brochures, signage, and sales materials.
Maintain and evolve Grown Rogue’s brand standards to ensure consistency across all platforms and materials.
Translate marketing and sales objectives into visually engaging, conversion-focused creative that resonate with cannabis consumers and retail buyers.

Packaging Design

Design retail packaging that meets cannabis compliance requirements while standing out on the shelf
Develop packaging concepts from ideation through production ready files
3D rendering of packaging and product mockups is a strong plus

Digital & Campaign Design:

Create printed and digital assets for sales teams’ success: sell sheets, product one-pagers, presentations, tradeshow displays, and merchandising materials.
Create engaging visuals for social media, websites, landing pages, and email campaigns maintaining mobile responsiveness and brand cohesion.
Support UI/UX considerations for digital experience and engagement.
Help design and optimize email templates and campaigns, ensuring mobile responsiveness and visual impact.
Contribute to testing of design elements to improve performance.

Collaboration & Project Management:

Work cross-functionally to support campaigns, community launches, and promotions.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Organize and maintain creative assets within shared systems and libraries.

Performance & Optimization:

Analyze performance of creative assets and recommend design improvements based on data and insights.
Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate creative output.

Experience for Graphic Designer:

Bchelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
2+ years of professional graphic design experience (preferably in marketing or advertising).
Strong portfolio showcasing a range across digital, print, and branding work. Packaging samples are a major plus.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Canva proficiency is a bonus.
Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
Understanding of responsive design and basic UI/UX principles.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo is a plus.
3D rendering skills a major plus.
Ability to take creative direction, provide input, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Genuine knowledge of and enthusiasm for the cannabis industry, culture, and consumer.
