Company Description

We are a growing in Massachusetts and expanding to Connecticut, fully virtual private practice built around structured, action-oriented therapy: work with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Our clinical foundation is CBT, narrative therapy, and a strong solution-focused orientation: accountability, skill building, and forward movement over open-ended or exploratory therapy.

We started by serving anxiety-based, goal-driven clients. We're now building out that same model across several specialty areas, so clients with more specific presentations can get care from a clinician who's dialed into that population. Our clinicians should be aware of this broader picture even if they're hired to focus on one specific area, since it's the same clinical spine applied to different presentations.

We view accountability and direct feedback as essential components of effective therapy and a strong therapeutic alliance, no matter which population a clinician is working with.

What We're Building

We are actively hiring across the following areas. Right now, substance use is our top priority: if that's your area, we especially want to hear from you. We're also hiring for the other areas below as we build out the practice.

Substance use (priority hire): clients working on change in relation to alcohol or substance use, often alongside anxiety or avoidance patterns.
First responders and community-facing professionals: clients whose jobs put them in high-stress, high-exposure roles (first responders, healthcare workers, and similar), where structure, confidentiality, and practical coping tools matter.
Trauma: structured, phased trauma work within our action-oriented model (not open-ended processing).
Anxiety: our founding population, goal-driven clients seeking clarity, direction, and practical tools.
Men's issues: clinicians comfortable with direct, structured work with male clients, including those newer to therapy or skeptical of a more exploratory approach.

A given clinician typically focuses primarily on one area that matches their background and interest, while operating from the same shared clinical model as the rest of the practice.

Role Description

We are hiring both pre-licensed master's level clinicians working toward licensure (MSW or master's-level counseling) and fully licensed clinicians. The role focuses on providing individual psychotherapy within a clearly defined clinical model, typically concentrated in one of the specialty areas above based on your background and the practice's current needs.

Clinicians receive consistent supervision, clear expectations, and structured support to build strong clinical skills within the practice model.

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work or counseling
Pre-licensed and working toward licensure (MSW or LMHC pathway), or currently licensed
Familiarity with narrative and solution-focused therapy, or willingness to be trained and apply them consistently
For substance use work: experience with substance use treatment or a strong working knowledge of it is preferred
For other specialty areas: relevant coursework, practicum, or lived/professional familiarity with trauma, men's issues, or first responder/high-stress professional populations is a plus, not a requirement
Comfort working with older adolescents and adults in a structured, goal-driven therapeutic model
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Openness to direct feedback and clinical coaching

Responsibilities

Provide individual psychotherapy to older adolescents and adults, primarily within your specialty area
Collaboratively set clear goals and maintain a defined treatment arc
Develop and implement structured treatment plans aligned with the practice model
Engage in direct, respectful clinical confrontation when clients are avoiding change or acting in ways misaligned with their stated goals and values
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Participate in weekly supervision and required trainings, including specialty-specific training as needed
Demonstrate accountability, preparation, and follow-through in clinical work

Caseload and Compensation

Minimum caseload expectation is fifteen clients, with a standard expectation of approximately twenty-five clients per week once fully established.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40-$45 per hour for pre-licensed clinicians; $50-$70 per hour for licensed clinicians, depending on credentialing and other factors.

Compensation is hourly for individual therapy sessions, with additional paid time for intakes, consultation, and required trainings related to the practice model. Caseloads are built gradually to support quality care and clinician sustainability.

This also isn't the right fit for clinicians who tend to linger in validation or open-ended processing longer than is clinically useful, rather than guiding sessions back toward action and forward movement.
