Nation One Mortgage is expanding, and we're looking to add three Mortgage Loan Processors to our Operations team.

We're open to a mix of talent, including:

Senior Mortgage Loan Processors who can confidently manage complex loan files with minimal oversight.
Processors ready to take the next step into a Senior Processor role.
Processors interested in growing toward a Junior Underwriter career path, with mentorship and development opportunities.
Early-career processors who already have exposure to manual underwriting, self-employed income calculations, or bond programs and are looking to continue building their expertise within a structured, collaborative environment.

Compensation: Open for negotiation and highly competitive based on experience. We are willing to structure compensation based on the level of experience you bring.

Position Summary

We are seeking 3 Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our operations team. This role is best suited for a high-performing processor who is confident managing complex files and can operate with speed, accuracy, and minimal oversight.

You will be responsible for handling a pipeline that includes manually underwritten loans (VA & FHA), complex income calculations (self-employed income), and state bond programs, requiring strong analytical ability and a deep understanding of agency guidelines.

Also open to: Processors earlier in their career who have exposure to these areas and are looking to grow into a senior-level role within a structured, team-driven environment.

Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred, as a portion of our borrower base requires Spanish-language communication and support throughout the loan process.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process mortgage loan files from submission through closing
Handle complex, manually underwritten loans (VA & FHA) with precision and urgency
Perform and validate detailed income calculations, including self-employed borrowers and complex income structures
Work with state bond loan programs (NJ & PA preferred) and ensure strict guideline adherence
Verify and analyze borrower documentation including income, credit, assets, and property details
Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to move files forward efficiently
Ensure compliance with company, investor, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Byte LOS or similar systems
Prepare files for underwriting and aggressively manage and clear conditions
Proactively manage pipeline to ensure timely closings

Qualifications (Key Experience Required)

Strong knowledge of manual underwriting for VA & FHA loans
Strong experience with income calculations, including self-employed borrowers
Proven ability to handle manually underwritten loans from start to finish
Experience working with state bond loan programs (NJ & PA strongly preferred)
2+ years of mortgage processing experience required. Senior-level experience is preferred, but we are also interested in speaking with processors who are ready to grow into a more advanced role.
Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
Experience with Byte Loan Origination System (LOS) is a plus
Ability to confidently manage complex borrower scenarios
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Remote candidates are welcome to apply.
