Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote REO (Real Estate Owned) Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the management and disposition of bank-owned properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and facilitating smooth transactions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in real estate, property management, and customer service to contribute to our mission of efficient property recovery and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, negotiation abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of real estate law and fair housing regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire REO process from property acquisition through sale, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and marketing efforts to maximize property value and expedite sales.
Negotiate with buyers, investors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other federal, state, and local laws governing real estate transactions.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, attorneys, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
Oversee property management activities including maintenance coordination, occupancy status updates, and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and legal documentation related to each property.
Conduct market analysis to develop strategic marketing plans tailored for each property.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and managing documentation.

Experience

Proven experience in real estate administration or property management within a remote setting.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal facilitation.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively.
Familiarity with real estate law, fair housing regulations, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
Prior experience in sales or marketing within the real estate sector is advantageous.
Knowledge of property management software tools and general administrative experience.
Understanding of real estate legal processes and documentation requirements.
