Full Job Description

The company is a game company that publishes titles across multiple platforms ranging from console to handheld and mobile. You will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the development & implementation of all aspects of assigned projects from inception through cross-team involvement to delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties

Primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and production team for a live operations title.
Monitr product updates and maintenance and sare fan feedback with Japanese development teams.
Request information required for social media and marketing efforts.
Accurately translate informational material from written Japanese to English and vice versa.
Ensuring quality of in-game messaging and messages and announcements on all official channels.
Work with the community manager to provide a helpful presence for the fans. Public appearance in live streaming broadcasts may be required.
Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties that are assigned by upper management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be business-level proficiency in English and in Japanese (both written and verbal).
Between one year to two years of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
Flexible to work overtime hours and night shifts as needed occasionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Eagerness and passion to learn and grow in the video games industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
