Full Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow the digital presence of an international sports and entertainment brand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands social media strategy, and can independently plan, create, schedule, and optimize content while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and able to work well in advance while remaining flexible for breaking news, event updates, and promotional opportunities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain weekly and monthly social media content calendars, ideally planned 2 weeks in advance while allowing flexibility for real-time content.
Create and publish 1–2 Reels per day across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and other relevant platforms.
Create and publish 1–2 feed posts per day with compelling captions and graphics.
Schedule content using social media management platforms.
Coordinate content around tournaments, promotions, sponsors, and special announcements.
Write engaging, on-brand copy that drives audience engagement.
Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions as needed.
Track performance metrics and provide monthly analytics reports with recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and marketing partners.
Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and viral content opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
Experience creating engaging Reels and short-form video content.
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan content weeks in advance.
Experience with scheduling platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar.
Knowledge of paid social advertising (Meta Ads, boosted posts, campaign optimization).
Understanding of SEO and social media search optimization.
Experience growing audiences organically through strategic content.
Ability to interpret analytics and adjust content strategy based on performance.
Basic graphic design skills using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar video editing software.
Comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the sports, poker, gaming, casino, or entertainment industries.
Familiarity with influencer collaborations and ambassador programs.
Experience managing sponsorship deliverables and branded partnerships.
Knowledge of live event coverage and real-time social media reporting.
Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus.
Photography or videography skills are an advantage.
Understanding of international audiences and multicultural marketing.

Project-based contract with opportunity for ongoing work
Flexible hours with occasional availability during live events
Must be comfortable working across multiple time zones when required
