Job Overview

Family Insight, P.C. is a well-established community-based organization which consists of a committed group of professionals and counselors dedicated to promoting the mental, emotional and social well-being of those in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide treatment for children, adolescents, families and adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and/or substance use disorders.

We currently have Spanish Speaking Licensed or LE Outpatient Therapist - Virtual Counselor positions available in Virginia.

Evening Availability Required: We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists who are available to see clients during the 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM timeframe. Evening availability is essential to meet the high demand for appointments during these hours.

Job Responsibilities: The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for providing individual, family, and group counseling for clients in the outpatient programs of Family Insight, P.C. These services are provided in a professional office setting.

Skills & Knowledge: The Therapist must possess strong clinical writing and verbal communication skills, must have experience providing individual and family counseling and have experience working with persons with serious mental, emotional and/or behavioral disorders, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. The Therapist must have experience and knowledge of crisis interventions and various therapeutic modalities. The Therapist must possess skills and knowledge of successful rapport building, treatment planning, group counseling, evidenced-based counseling practices, diagnostic criteria, and assessment completion. The Therapist must have knowledge of the impact of trauma on an individual’s functioning, and have experience working with diverse populations.

Job Requirements: The Outpatient Therapist must hold a Virginia State license in professional counseling (LPC), social work (LCSW), Supervisee in Social Work, or marriage and family therapist (LMFT). *Residents and supervisees (licensed eligible) are highly encouraged to apply.* The ability of flexibility to work a schedule to include but not limited to evenings and weekends.
