Life Insurance Retirement Specialist Job Summary

TFM Wealth Management is seeking motivated, entrepreneurial, and client-focused individuals to join our growing team as Life Insurance Retirement Specialists.

In this role, you will help individuals, families, and business owners protect their financial futures through life insurance, retirement strategies, wealth-building solutions, and financial education. You will work with prospective and existing clients to understand their goals, identify their needs, and provide customized solutions designed to help them build long-term financial security.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Life Insurance Retirement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Engaging with prospective clients through networking, referrals, community outreach, virtual appointments, retail environments, and telemarketing campaigns.

Conducting needs-based financial reviews to identify appropriate life insurance, retirement planning, and wealth-building solutions.

Educating clients on coverage options, retirement strategies, asset protection, and long-term financial planning.

Presenting customized financial solutions based on each client’s goals, needs, risk tolerance, and financial situation.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships through follow-up, policy reviews, financial education, and ongoing support.

Assisting clients through the application process, including gathering information, completing paperwork, and providing updates.

Managing administrative duties such as tracking leads, maintaining client records, updating CRM systems, and following company processes.

Collaborating with leadership and marketing teams to support client acquisition, community outreach, and business growth initiatives.

Providing excellent customer service by responding to client questions, addressing concerns, and helping clients feel confident throughout the planning process.

Participating in ongoing training, licensing education, leadership development, and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail sales, outside sales, financial services, insurance, or client-facing roles is preferred.

Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to build trust, establish relationships, and communicate with clients in a professional manner.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Comfortable with prospecting, networking, follow-up, and relationship-based sales.

Experience with CRM systems, lead management, or sales administration is a plus.

Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.

Knowledge of life insurance, retirement planning, financial education, or benefits administration is helpful but not required.

Must be willing to complete required licensing, training, and continuing education as needed.
