About 321 Web Marketing
321 Web Marketing is a Northern Virginia-based inbound lead generation agency that helps B2B companies in IT, cybersecurity, SaaS, insurance, financial services, and home services beat their industry benchmarks for cost-per-qualified-lead. We've been in business since 2013, and our clients need a real marketing partner, not just a vendor.
Our mission: To deeply understand every client's business and build marketing flywheels that earn them qualified leads, month after month.
Our vision: To build a marketing team so good that our clients' success becomes our best sales tool.
The Role
We're looking for a Digital Account Manager with deep SEO and SEM experience who can own client relationships across both organic and paid search campaigns, play an active role in defining and executing campaign strategy, and drive measurable results for every account they touch.
This isn't a "check the boxes and send a report" role. You'll be the person clients trust to translate their business goals into marketing action, the person our marketers look to for clear direction, and the person who rolls up their sleeves and gets into Google Ads or WordPress when the situation calls for it. You run Quarterly Business Reviews, set goals collaboratively with clients, and hold yourself (and others) accountable to hitting them.
We move with urgency, not emergency. You should too.
What You'll Do
Client Strategy & Relationship Management
- Own a portfolio of B2B client accounts spanning SEO and SEM campaigns
- Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that go beyond reporting; set goals collaboratively with clients and present clear plans to achieve them
- Translate client requirements into actionable strategies by deeply understanding their business, their differentiators, and what they actually need (not just what they say)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust through transparency, data-backed recommendations, and consistent follow-through
Data Analysis & Campaign Strategy
- Read and interpret GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads data fluently to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and define strategy
- Translate data into specific campaign adjustments, whether that means restructuring ad groups, refining keyword targeting, adjusting bidding strategies, improving quality scores, or reprioritizing content efforts
- Provide clear, actionable direction to SEO specialists and SEM marketers based on what the data is telling you
- Monitor campaign performance against client goals and industry benchmarks, adjusting strategy proactively rather than reactively
- Deliver ROI reporting that connects marketing activity to business outcomes clients care about
Hands-On Execution & Team Leadership
- Direct the work of marketers across your accounts, setting priorities and ensuring deliverables align with the strategy
- Jump into campaigns and do the work when needed: finetune Google Ads campaigns (ad copy, bid adjustments, audience targeting, negative keywords), make updates in WordPress, or optimize landing pages to improve conversion
- Act as a working player-coach; you can guide a marketer through a task, but you can also sit down and execute it yourself when the timeline or complexity demands it
- Push projects forward on deadline without waiting to be asked; you manage the timeline, not the other way around
- Identify when something is off-track early and solve it before it becomes a problem
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 3+ years in a digital marketing account management or strategist role at an agency
- Hands-on experience managing both SEO and SEM/Google Ads campaigns (you've done the work yourself, not just reviewed it). You should be comfortable finetuning campaigns directly: adjusting bids, restructuring ad groups, writing ad copy, optimizing quality scores, and building out keyword strategies.
- Working experience with WordPress, including the ability to make content updates, troubleshoot page issues, and optimize pages for lead generation
- Strong working proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads; you can pull data, read it, and explain what it means in plain English
- Experience running QBRs or structured client reviews with decision-makers
- Track record of managing multiple accounts simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing your own time, communicating proactively, and keeping projects moving without in-person oversight
Required Skills & Attributes
- Respect the brand. You take the time to deeply understand each client's business, voice, and differentiators, and you make sure every recommendation reflects who they are.
- Raise the bar. You're not satisfied with "good enough." You push yourself, your team, and your campaigns to be better than last quarter.
- Win as a team, lose as a team. You share credit, own mistakes, and understand that your marketers' success is your success.
- Grit. You have the passion to care about the details and the persistence to push through when things get hard or ambiguous.
- Be of service and go the extra mile. You treat client goals like your own. When something needs to happen, you don't wait to be asked.
- Look sharp. Be sharp. You show up prepared for every QBR, every internal review, and every client conversation. Your work product reflects the standard you hold yourself to.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Ads/Bing in addition to Google Ads
- Familiarity with call tracking or lead attribution platforms (e.g., WhatConverts, CallRail)
- Experience in B2B verticals such as IT/SaaS, cybersecurity, insurance, or financial services
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications
- Exposure to AI-assisted marketing workflows or tools
Why 321 Web Marketing
- Your work builds the flywheel. Every qualified lead you help generate compounds into client trust, retention, and growth. Our clients' success is our best sales tool, and you'll see the direct connection between your efforts and their results.
- Fully remote, fully trusted. We hire people who don't need to be managed; they need to be supported. Work from wherever you do your best work.
- A culture built on grit and service. We respect the brand, raise the bar, and go the extra mile. Those aren't slogans. They're how we evaluate ourselves every quarter.
- Room to grow. We're a service-first agency that's actively building new processes and raising our standard every day. If you want to shape how things are done, not just follow a playbook someone else wrote, this is the place.
