About the Role

We are looking for a Digital PR & Link Acquisition Specialist to strengthen our brand authority, organic search visibility, and online presence through high-quality earned media coverage and editorial backlinks.

This is not a traditional PR role or a volume-based link-building position.

You will be responsible for developing and executing digital PR campaigns, identifying relevant journalists and publishers, conducting personalized outreach, and securing high-quality editorial placements and backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites.

You will work closely with our content, SEO, marketing, and business teams to turn industry insights, data, expert commentary, and original content into stories that journalists and publishers want to cover.

Experience in B2B, eCommerce, SaaS, logistics, supply chain, or related industries is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities1. Digital PR & Media Outreach

Develop and execute digital PR campaigns designed to earn media coverage, brand mentions, and high-quality editorial backlinks.
Identify and build relationships with relevant journalists, editors, bloggers, publishers, and industry websites.
Create personalized and compelling media pitches based on industry trends, company expertise, original research, data, and timely news angles.
Proactively identify PR opportunities and topics that could generate coverage in relevant business, eCommerce, technology, retail, logistics, and marketing publications.
Respond to journalist requests and relevant media opportunities when appropriate.

2. Link Acquisition

Build a sustainable pipeline of high-quality referring domains through legitimate, white-hat outreach and digital PR.
Evaluate potential websites based on relevance, authority, organic traffic, editorial quality, and link profile.
Secure contextual and editorial backlinks from trustworthy and relevant websites.
Identify competitor backlink opportunities and unexplored link acquisition channels.
Maintain accurate records of outreach, responses, placements, backlinks, and campaign performance.

We are not looking for candidates whose primary strategy relies on:

PBNs
Link farms
Spam directories
Mass guest-post networks
Automated bulk outreach
Low-quality paid backlinks

Our focus is on earned, editorial, relevant, and sustainable links.

3. Campaign & Content Collaboration

Work with the content team to develop link-worthy assets such as:
Original research
Industry reports
Data-driven articles
Surveys
Expert commentary
Statistics pages
Thought-leadership content
Infographics and other PR assets
Identify topics with strong potential for both media coverage and organic search performance.
Repurpose company expertise and internal data into compelling stories and PR angles.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to create credible, authoritative content.

4. SEO & Competitor Analysis

Use tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or similar platforms to analyze backlink profiles and identify opportunities.
Monitor competitors' referring domains, media mentions, and digital PR activity.
Assess backlink quality based on domain relevance, organic traffic, authority, link placement, and editorial context.
Collaborate with the SEO/content team to support improvements in organic search authority and visibility.

5. Performance Tracking

Track and report key Digital PR and link acquisition metrics, including:

New referring domains
Quality editorial backlinks acquired
Media placements
Brand mentions
Relevant domain authority / domain rating benchmarks
Referral traffic
Outreach response rate
Campaign success rate
Organic visibility improvements

Focus should be on link quality and relevance rather than simply the number of backlinks acquired.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Digital PR, SEO PR, Link Acquisition, Off-page SEO, Media Outreach, or a similar role.
Demonstrated track record of securing editorial backlinks and media placements.
Strong understanding of SEO, backlinks, referring domains, anchor text, domain authority, organic traffic, and link quality.
Experience conducting journalist, editor, publisher, or blogger outreach.
Excellent written English with the ability to create concise and persuasive pitches.
Strong research skills and ability to identify compelling stories from industry trends, data, and company expertise.
Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, or similar platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

A successful candidate will consistently:

Secure relevant, authoritative editorial backlinks.
Generate genuine media coverage and brand mentions.
Build relationships with journalists and publishers rather than relying on transactional link buying.
Identify creative PR opportunities proactively.
Improve the quality and diversity of the website's referring domain profile.
Help strengthen the company's authority within the eCommerce and B2B space.
