About the Practice

We are a growing, mission-driven mental health group practice serving individuals, couples, and families throughout California. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care while creating a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced California-licensed Psychologist to join our leadership team in a part-time remote role. This position will provide clinical supervision to associates, oversee the operations and quality of our Intake Department, and may conduct psychological and diagnostic evaluations based on experience and interest.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys leadership, mentoring developing clinicians, and helping shape systems that improve client access and quality of care.

Primary Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision

Provide supervision to pre-licensed associates in accordance with California Board of Psychology requirements.
Review clinical documentation and support adherence to ethical, legal, and professional standards.
Provide consultation on clinical cases, risk assessment, treatment planning, and professional development.
Support associates in developing clinical competence and confidence.

Intake Department Oversight

Provide clinical leadership for the Intake Department.
Develop and refine intake procedures, triage protocols, and client-provider matching systems.
Ensure timely and clinically appropriate assignment of new referrals.
Review intake data and identify opportunities to improve client engagement, access, and retention.
Collaborate with administrative staff to streamline intake workflows and enhance client experience.

Psychological Assessment (Optional Based on Experience)

Conduct psychological, diagnostic, personality, ADHD, learning, or other assessments as appropriate.
Prepare integrated assessment reports and provide feedback to clients and referral sources.
Assist in developing and expanding psychological evaluation services within the practice.

Insurance and Clinical Operations

Provide guidance regarding insurance-based clinical practice and documentation standards.
Participate in quality assurance and compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with practice leadership on clinical policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

Active California Psychologist license in good standing.
Strong understanding of ethical, legal, and risk management issues in outpatient mental health practice.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Strongly Preferred

Experience with insurance credentialing and payer requirements.
Experience in group practice settings.
Experience supervising trainees, associates, or early-career clinicians.
Psychological assessment experience.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth service delivery.
Experience developing clinical workflows, intake systems, or quality improvement initiatives.
