Full Job Description

This is a phone sales job. All day, every day.

You'll talk to people who are hurting, frustrated, and skeptical, usually because whatever they tried last time didn't work. Your job is to help the right ones decide to start care. That means running the conversation, saying the price confidently out loud, and asking somebody to commit with conviction.

We are not hiring a scheduler, a receptionist, or someone who does a little sales on the side. We want somebody who has carried a number and hit it.

No medical background needed. We'll teach you our model.

What counts as sales experience

Plenty of people call themselves salespeople without ever doing real sales in a way that requires a profound understanding of buyer psychology and communication skills.

This counts:

Dental or orthodontic treatment coordination, presenting plans and getting the yes
Med spa, aesthetics, dermatology, or elective procedure consults
LASIK, hearing aids, or similar patient-pay consults
Chiropractic care plan presentations
High-ticket fitness or coaching sales where you carried a personal number
Inside sales or inbound closing where you owned the conversation from first call to signed commitment

This doesn't count on its own:

Retail floor or register
Restaurant, hospitality, or hotel front desk
Customer service, support, or account maintenance
Scheduling or front desk work
Setting appointments for someone else to close
Any role where you never said a price out loud and never asked anyone to decide

Here's the test: Can you tell us what you sold, what it cost, what your close rate was, and what you said when somebody told you they needed to think about it? If those answers come easy, apply. If they're hard, this isn't your seat yet.

The objections you’ll get

Our patients pay out of pocket. So the thing you'll hear five times a day is some version of "I'll just use my insurance and go somewhere in network."

You get scripts, role plays, recordings of real calls, and clinicians backing you up. By week three you need to run that conversation without stalling.

A physical therapist would walk in already able to answer "will this work for my knee." You won't, and you'll have to earn that by learning our model cold. What you bring instead is the part that takes years. You know how to sit in silence after you say a number. You know an objection from a brush-off. You know that follow-up is where the money is. We'd rather buy that than try to teach it.

What you're walking into

We're on pace for roughly 1,950 inquiries, 1,335 discovery calls, and 900 attended evaluations this year. Last year was 789. The year before, 493. The year before that, 60.

We add another full-time therapist soon and our ads go on full-blast. The number your commission rides on is still climbing.

The day

50 to 70 touches across phone, text, and email
New inquiries answered in minutes. This is the metric we're strictest about
Discovery calls, plus chasing the people who cancelled, no-showed, or went quiet a month ago
Auditing old leads, looking for opportunities to revive.
Everything logged, every week scored, your calls recorded and reviewed with you
Your first several weeks you're learning clinical vocabulary and our care model on top of a full call load

We've hired this seat before and watched people leave because the day was heavier than they pictured. That list is deliberately unglamorous. If it reads as a grind, trust that.

Pay

Base: $22/hour, W2 ($45,760/year) with full benefits
$30 for every evaluation that shows up
$50 each past 85 in a month
No cap

Roughly what that pays: 14 evals a week is about $67,500. Seventeen, our current pace, is about $72,500. Twenty is $77,500. Twenty-two is $82,500. Twenty-four is $87,500.

Your first 90 days, commission is guaranteed at 14 attended evals a week while you learn the model. You don't pay for your own ramp.

We pay on attended evaluations instead of bookings, because a booking that doesn't show didn't help anybody.

What success looks like

30 days. You know our model and pricing cold, you can explain our approach to a stranger in ninety seconds, and no lead sits unworked.

90 days. You're running the funnel on your own, converting at or above our current baseline, follow-up airtight.

6 months. You're beating the baseline, show rate above 90%, and the people you send to evaluation are starting plans of care at a higher rate because of how well you set them up.

Where it goes

This seat owns the front end of the business. As we grow, whoever's in it has a path to owning the whole acquisition side: lead quality, messaging, pricing input, and eventually hiring and running additional intake staff. We've grown evaluation volume 14x in three years and this seat is central to what's next.
