Full Job Description

Role: VP Sales, US Market

Location: Remote US

Reports to: Group Commercial SVP

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Compensation $90,000 base (~$200,000 OTE) commission uncapped

Why this role

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build and own Vet-AI's commercial growth across the US market at one of the fastest-growing companies in the digital pet care space. We're launching in the US right now, and you will be the commercial lead who defines how we win here across three distinct business lines: Pet Insurers, Corporates and Clinical trials. You will have the autonomy to shape strategy from a blank page, the backing of an established UK business behind you, and uncapped earning tied directly to the pipeline you manage and create.

About Vet-AI

Vet-AI is redefining pet care and veterinary research. Our flagship app, Joii Pet Care, makes high-quality pet healthcare affordable and accessible to pet-owners across the US, UK and beyond. We're also at the forefront of digital veterinary clinical trials: our platform enables efficient, technology-powered research for veterinary medicine, connecting research sponsors with Joii's extensive and highly engaged pet-owner network.

The role

As Sales Lead, US Market, you will own and grow Vet-AI's new business pipeline across these 3 business lines. You will be our commercial presence on the ground in the US, working closely with our clinical, product and commercial teams and representing Vet-AI at key industry events. This is a rare chance to define and build critical revenue streams for a fast-scaling business, from a blank page.

The 3 business lines are:

Pet Insurers: lead partnership and channel discussions with US insurers adopting Joii's televet solution, from first conversation through to signed partnerships.
Corporates & Intermediaries: open and close employee pet-care benefit opportunities with US employers and benefit intermediaries..
Clinical Trials: own the pipeline in companion-animal clinical research, positioning Joii's platform as the cost-effective, technology-enabled solution for decentralised and hybrid trial designs, and selling to pet-food manufacturers and petcare companies (US-based and international sponsors alike).

What you'll do

Co-develop and execute Vet-AI's US sales strategy across all three verticals.
Own the full sales cycle in each: prospecting, lead generation, solution scoping, proposal development, negotiation and closing.
Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across US pet insurers, corporate, benefits buyers and intermediaries, pet-food and petcare companies
Maintain a healthy, well-documented pipeline across all three lines, with accurate forecasting and CRM reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally to design tailored solutions that deliver measurable value for each type of client.
Represent Vet-AI at US (and international) industry events, conferences and professional forums.

What we're looking for

Essential

A proven track record in US B2B / enterprise sales, ideally spanning more than one sector.
Experience in one or more of our verticals: US pet insurers, Corporate, Benefits buyers and intermediaries, pet-food and petcare companies
Demonstrated success building and managing a pipeline and closing new-business deals from scratch.
The versatility to sell across distinct buyer types — comfortable moving between research, insurance and corporate-benefits conversations.
Comfortable in a start-up or scale-up environment — you thrive on ownership and building processes
Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship-management skills.

Preferred

An established US network in any of these markets.
Familiarity with pet insurer channel dynamics or the corporate benefits / broker landscape.
Knowledge of clinical trials operations, regulatory frameworks or R&D partnerships in animal health.
