Full Job Description

About Our Practice

We are a well-established, physician-owned small primary care practice seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily business and operational functions of our clinic. This position works closely with the physician owners to ensure excellent patient care, efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and financial success.

Primary Responsibilities

· Oversee daily operations, patient flow, scheduling, and office efficiency.

· Supervise recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

· Manage payroll coordination, employee benefits, PTO, and HR documentation.

· Prepare and monitor budgets, banking, accounts payable, and financial reporting.

· Oversee billing, coding, collections, and vendor contracts.

· Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, and state regulations.

· Coordinate internal audits, inspections, and accreditation requirements.

· Maintain EHR systems and coordinate with IT vendors.

· Monitor patient satisfaction and resolve escalated concerns.

· Develop operational improvements and support practice growth.

Qualifications

· Medical office management experience.

· Experience supervising healthcare staff.

· Knowledge of medical billing, coding, compliance, and revenue cycle management.

· Experience with EHR systems, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Excel.

· Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
