Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Design, schedule, and facilitate a comprehensive activities program consistent with both the needs of the residents and Promenade’s standards.

· Prepare and submit an activity calendar, prior to the monthly Lifestyles Meeting, to the Executive Director.

· Produce, update and air activity information made available to Residents on Promenade’s closed circuit TV channel and digital signage.

· Procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents as part of the activity program.

· Prepare and supervise Resident volunteer opportunities if requested.

· Schedule, announce and facilitate the Resident monthly Lifestyle Meeting.

· Have a balanced activities program seven (7) days per week to include special events at holidays and throughout the year.

· Participate as an active team member in developing resident service plans.

Supervisory

· Supervise and direct Promenade Transportation and coordinate Promenade’s resident transportation scheduling.

· Manage the front desk Concierge team, including scheduling a month in advance, managing Paid Time Off requests to ensure coverage can be provided before granting and providing coverage when necessary.

· Conduct performance reviews on supervised staff.

Budgets

· Follow the budgetary guidelines established for the activities department and its supervisory elements.

· Order supplies and materials required to facilitate the program.

· Assist with annual budget preparation as requested by the Executive Director.

Resident Focus

· Learn about the residents and document and share with team members any pertinent information about the residents, as appropriate to enhance their living environment.

· Welcome new residents and assist with their transition period to Promenade by providing orientation about activities and transportation.
