Location: Reno, Nevada | Full-time | On-site in a collaborative office environment where you'll work closely with experienced trial attorneys and gain valuable courtroom exposure.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada and have 1+ years of litigation experience. Experience in defense litigation, medical malpractice, or healthcare law is highly preferred but not required.

Job Description

Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and trials.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy.
Manage case files while maintaining excellent client communication.
Contribute to business development and help build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
1+ years of litigation experience.
Strong understanding of Nevada State and Federal court rules and procedures.
Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
Experience in medical malpractice, healthcare law, or insurance defense is preferred.
