Full Job Description

Renown Health, northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit, locally governed academic health system, is seeking a General Neurologist.

The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients with general neurological disorders, including headache/migraines, and will collaborate with other Neurology subspecialists on their team to provide comprehensive care.

The physician will foster the teaching of residents and medical students from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med). Working with an established Research Department provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

Renown Regional Medical Center houses the Renown Institute for Neurosciences and is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center.

Position Details

Traditional outpatient schedule; 4/10 schedule option available
Collaborative Multi-disciplinary Neurology team: MS, Movement, Epilepsy, Neuro Oncology, Neuromuscular, Neuro Psychiatry
Lab technician team and 24/7 Acute Neurology support
General Neurologists will evaluate and treat headache patients, including providing office based procedures
Participate in Renown Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Health Program
Direct access to Renown Neurology’s PhD Neuropsychologist and Psychometrist
Salary guarantee plus Quality Incentive Bonuses
