Full Job Description

The Wild Garlic Kitchen is hiring a full-time Commissary Kitchen Manager to lead our central production kitchen, where we prepare fresh pizza dough, bread, sauces, and other products for six restaurant locations: three The Wild Garlic Pizza restaurants and three The Blind Onion Pizza restaurants.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing a team, maintaining exceptional quality, and keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.

Pay: $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, approximately 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation of the commissary kitchen
Lead, train, coach, and schedule the production team
Ensure consistent, high-quality production of dough, bread, sauces, and other recipes
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and minimize waste
Coordinate production to meet the needs of all six restaurant locations
Maintain equipment and continually improve organization and efficiency

Qualifications

Previous management experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, commissary, or food production environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with inventory management and food cost control
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ServSafe Manager Certification, or the ability to obtain certification after hire
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods of time. Ability to squat, bend, reach twist and grip frequently.
Dough, baking, or pizza production experience is a plus
