Full Job Description

Part Time Administrative Assistant

Blacksmith Enterprises Inc. dba Stodtmeister Iron is seeking a dependable, organized Part Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in staying organized, and is comfortable supporting multiple areas of the business.

This is a part time position averaging approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. While your schedule can be flexible between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, we do require a consistent schedule that is communicated in advance. Reliability and punctuality are essential, as this position supports our daily operations.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Monitor and respond to company email inquiries
File and maintain electronic and paper records
Track company vehicles, fuel logs, maintenance records, registrations, and service schedules
Maintain safety documentation and assist with compliance tracking
Order office and shop supplies
Run occasional local errands, including bank deposits, post office, and vendor pickups
Provide administrative support to the Business Manager
Assist with data entry, document preparation, and other administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications

Previous administrative or office experience preferred
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable answering multi line phones and interacting with customers
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Schedule

Approximately 25 to 30 hours per week
Flexible schedule between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Consistent schedule required and must be communicated in advance
Monday through Friday
No evenings or weekends

Compensation

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
