Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling and behavioral health, with a focus on providing support to families and individuals facing various challenges. This role involves working with clients of ages 18 and older, including the elderly 65+, and requires an understanding of therapeutic techniques and documentation practices. The Family Therapist will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships and promoting mental well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual, couple and family therapy sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and relational issues.
Follow personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and needs.
Submit progress notes in a timely manner.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
Provide support and guidance to individuals dealing with mental health and interpersonal challenges.
Monitor client progress to achieve optimal outcomes.
Attend any training and supervision at the agency.
Supervision included.

Experience

A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Registered with the licensing board having an intern number.
Proven experience in counseling, particularly with individuals and/or couple.
Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and therapeutic interventions.
Some knowledge in documentation processes related to mental health treatment.
Demonstrated ability to provide patient care with empathy and professionalism.
