Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Lead menu planning and development, incorporating innovative Mexican dishes/salsas while maintaining cost efficiency.
Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across all kitchen activities.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals.
Monitor food handling procedures and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen area.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant kitchens, with a strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet services.
Recipe creation and costing.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced food service environment is essential.
Knowledge of dietary requirements and food management practices within the hospitality industry.
Expertise in food production, menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively and motivate team members.
Familiarity with food safety protocols and health regulations related to the food industry.
