Full Job Description

China Visa Net is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Visa Application Consultant to join our growing team in Vienna, Virginia.

This is a customer support and visa application processing position — NOT a sales position.

You will help customers understand the China visa application process, review application documents, communicate with customers by phone ,email and text when necessary.

There is no cold calling, door-to-door sales, or commission-based sales.

This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with people, handling documents, following procedures, and paying close attention to details.

What You Will Do

Assist customers with questions regarding China visa application procedures and required documents
Review visa application forms and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy
Help customers understand what documents, photographs, forms, and information are required
Communicate with customers primarily through phone, email and SMS
Follow up with customers regarding missing or incomplete documents
Review passport information, application forms, photographs, and supporting documents
Enter and maintain accurate customer information in our internal systems
Track application progress and provide customers with status updates
Prepare application packages and organize documents for processing
Follow established company procedures and consulate requirements
Coordinate with other team members to make sure applications are processed accurately and on time
Handle multiple customer cases while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Protect customer privacy and confidential information
Perform other administrative and customer-support tasks related to visa processing

What This Job Is NOT

This is important:

No cold calling
No commission-based sales
No door-to-door sales
No aggressive sales targets
No need to sell products or services over the phone

Our customers are already contacting us because they need visa assistance. Your job is to help customers, review their applications, explain the process, and make sure their documents are properly prepared.

Qualifications

Required

Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working with computers and online systems
Able to use email, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic office software
Able to learn detailed procedures and follow instructions carefully
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Able to handle multiple customer cases at the same time
Professional, reliable, and responsible
Able to work onsite in Vienna, Virginia

Previous visa experience is NOT required. We provide training.

The ideal candidate understands that in visa processing, small details matter. A missing document, incorrect date, or incomplete form can delay an application, so accuracy is extremely important.

Training

During the training period, you will learn:

China visa application procedures
Common visa categories and application requirements
Document review procedures
Customer communication procedures
Internal application processing procedures
How to identify common application errors
How to use our internal systems and workflow

You do not need to be a visa expert when you start. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and can consistently follow established procedures.

Compensation

3 Month Starting Pay: $20/hour

After successfully completing the 3 months initial training period and demonstrating proficiency in the position:

$25-30/hour

This is a W-2, full-time position with long-term employment potential.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday

9:30 AM–5:30 PM

This is an onsite position in Vienna, Virginia.

Please make sure you are comfortable commuting to our Vienna office before applying.
