Associate Attorney — Fairfax, Virginia

Are you an attorney who wants to practice law—not spend your days behind a desk?

This law firm is an expanding Virginia litigation firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Fairfax office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants substantial courtroom experience, direct client responsibility, and meaningful mentorship while building a long-term career as a litigator.

If you want to be in court, advocate for real people, and develop your skills alongside experienced attorneys, we want to hear from you.

What makes this opportunity different

Real courtroom experience: You can expect to be in court an average of four out of five days per week.
Meaningful client contact: You will work directly with clients and play an important role in their cases—not simply perform behind-the-scenes research.
Mentorship: Work closely with the firm's managing partner and other experienced attorneys who will provide guidance as you develop your litigation skills.
Hands-on responsibility: Take an active role in cases from client intake through court appearances and resolution.
Litigation-focused practice: Your primary practice will involve traffic and criminal defense, with opportunities to support family law matters.

Is motivated to learn and receptive to mentorship.

Prior criminal defense or litigation experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right attorney. What matters most is that you want to be in the courtroom, are willing to learn, and have the drive to become an excellent advocate.
