Sales Representative Media Company

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho (In Office for First 18 Months, Then Eligible for Remote Work)

Crittenden Research is looking for a motivated sales professional who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, make cold calls, and earn the right to build a successful book of business.

For more than 30 years, we've helped companies reach decision-makers through industry publications, digital marketing programs, conferences, and sponsorship opportunities. We're growing our Golf and Healthcare divisions and are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term sales career.

This is not a customer service job.

This is a sales role for someone who is competitive, resilient, coachable, and willing to outwork others to create opportunities.

If you're the type of person who enjoys winning business, handling objections, and turning prospects into long-term clients, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

Sell advertising, sponsorships, and digital marketing programs to businesses nationwide
Make outbound calls to prospective clients every day
Reconnect with existing clients and identify new opportunities
Conduct virtual sales presentations and account reviews
Learn consultative sales techniques from experienced leadership
Attend select industry conferences and events
Build and manage your own portfolio of accounts

Follow up consistently
Enjoy setting goals and competing against them
Take coaching well and continuously improve
Want their income tied to performance

What We're Looking For

1-5 years of sales, customer-facing, business development, recruiting, fundraising, hospitality, or other relationship-based experience
Strong communication skills
High energy and positive attitude
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Ability to work from our Idaho Falls office for the first 18 months
Desire to build a long-term sales career

You do not need media sales experience.

We are willing to train the right person if they demonstrate persistence, work ethic, and the desire to succeed.
