Overview

Disco Napoli requires a dynamic, passionate , and skillful Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in creating delicious Italian food for the Hudson Valley region . In this role, you will oversee all aspects of meal creation, kitchen management, and food service operations, ensuring the highest standards of authenticity, safety, and guest delight. Your leadership will inspire creativity, foster teamwork, and uphold our commitment to "unreasonble hospitality". This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional eager to make a significant impact in a vibrant, fast-paced and funky environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and food service teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards while incorporating seasonal/local ingredients and dietary considerations
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency
Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and uphold health regulations across all kitchen operations
Coordinate private events and special functions with meticulous attention to detail and timely execution
Monitor shift management, staffing schedules, and training programs to ensure smooth daily operations and continuous team development

Experience

Proven experience in elevated dining establishments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management
Supervising experience managing diverse culinary teams within high-volume settings
Demonstrated expertise in dietary department operations, menu planning, and food handling procedures
Strong background in kitchen management including inventory control, cost control, and food safety sanitizing procedures
Knowledge of hospitality standards with a focus on delivering exceptional Italian food service experiences
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and uphold high standards of culinary excellence
